Non waterproof or waterproof is better depend on the location where the strip will be applied.For outdoor and under water using,no doubt that waterproof led strip is over non-waterproof led strip. What is the light quality of the pure white, K value, example 2600K, 5000K ? For the white light will this strip produce as much light as the 300 lights per reel led 5050 chips white light only? Reply to mike: The color temperature of pure white is 6500K, we can customize it 6000K if you wish. 5050 chips strip is the brightest one. 3528 300leds is 24W/reel, but 5050 300leds is 72W/reel. Is there a solder less connectors for the SMD 3528 and any jumpers that are longer I need about 20 feet of lights, what driver do I need it will be into 2 locations on cabinets Reply to Charles, Strip wire coupler makes connection without soldering available. For two separate locations, first make sure the power supply, share one transformer or need power source separately. then check is dimmer necessary or not. Johnny,If you're making a sereis circuit, that is, all three LEDs in a row, you don't need wires, you would just solder the negative leg of one LED to the positive of the next, negative of that one to the positive of the next, etc. Or you can use wires between them. I think what you're asking about is a sereis circuit. That is perfectly fine, in fact, take a look at the sereis circuit video of my LED sereis and you'll see what I mean. However, I wouldn't just take three LEDs in a row and solder directly into a balance connector without resistors. You should calculate any resistors you need depending on your power supply voltage of your (I'm assuming lipo) battery. I hope that helps....
